Sabbath has been a topic I have been interested in since Seminary. I must have written six or seven papers on Sabbath, from Biblical, Ethical and Pastoral perspectives. It is near and dear to my heart. So when a Sabbath passage comes up in scripture, I jump on it. Today's lectionary, Luke 13: 1-17 was a perfect opportunity. Here is the audio to the sermon.
